Dear colleagues:
The teaching strategies in these books are not the only way to teach Chinese; they are one way that I have discovered really works. You may choose to follow each step, skip a step, add a step or simply create your own version. Every idea that I share with you has been used successfully in my own classroom, and has been proven successful with hundreds of students.
My greatest interest is to make learning Chinese easy and fun, and Learn-With-A-Smile is what I try to accomplish everyday with my students.
I believe that every student has a “genius within”, and through a carefully orchestrated and pleasurable learning environment, student are most likely to make that discovery for themselves.
